All Party inquiry into antisemitism: conclusions

You can read the summary of the conclusions presented in the 66-pages long report that is being published today here, as well as download the entire document in *.pdf format.

I accept the validity of these conclusions. If you don't have time to digest the full report, then do read the summary...

This report is no doubt perfectly well intentioned but I think some of observations and commentary in it are rather flawed.

My feeling is the problems start right at the beginning in defining anti-Semitism and racism with reflection to the 'Race Relations Act 1976' and Macpherson report, and the reasons for that is this commitee has abdicated any thought process itself on this.

Some of the commentary in the report is extremely glib and flippant in my opinion, and the most startling revelation in the report is that the increase in anti-Semitic incidents directly correlates with New Labour's time in office. Very interesting.

I might write something on this.
