The exercise of power is determined by thousands of interactions between the world of the powerful and that of the powerless, all the more so because these worlds are never divided by a sharp line: everyone has a small part of himself in both - Vaclav Havel

Watching & listening to Olbermann made my day, Gert. No, make that week. On second thoughts, maybe month. Nawh, tell you what, I'll settle for year.
Thanks a lot for helping spread it around, btw. Maybe, the more who watch, the more will be emboldened.

Now it is MY turn to be dissappointed. A fan of KEITH OLBERMAN? This guy is easily as far wacky LEFT as Rush Limbaugh is to the RIGHT. Surely you can see through his spin? The guy has more segues than the LAX Airport parking patrol.
His show is getting its A$$ kicked in the ratings against competitors - including his arch-nemesis Bill O'Reilly (who he constantly rants about, while Bill just laughs at "that other guy on MSNBC."), and he shamelessly kisses the feet of Bill Clinton and John Kerry every single chance he gets.
Like a snappy little lap-dog that gets picked on, but continues to bark and run in frightened circles, Keith is entertaining for a short time. But "bitter" doesn't stay funny for long, and whining becomes hard work....and I predict that in less than a week from today Keith will be doing plenty of that.
He just might make my DOTW!!! ;-)
Cheers, Timmer

Bill O'Reilly? Man, don't make me piss myself! Did you see him on the Letterman show? Bill just doesn't get it, does he? I'm practically addicted to BOR, I mean who needs comedy central when you can have him, and with Geraldo thrown in as a bonus feature?
Some Republicans are so funny. I guess Dubya really does lead by example...
Gert -
If O'Reilly is such a dumbass, what does that make his obsessed junior rival KO???
And you may have a point about some GOPers being haplessly funny and ridiculous, but that really is a trait they share equally with many, many of the Dumocrats across the aisle!
Timmer:
Lots of people are "obsessed" with BOR, there's just something about him. That probably makes him very popular, that, as well as the fact BOR is the eternal reductionist, who chops things up into bite size, Manichean pseudo-arguments...
