I've heard the IDF being called the IOF, but ADF? Typo or is there a deeper meaning to it?

What the hell is that accent supposed to be? Sounds (reads) more like a German accent than Israeli. Was that intentional?

This is probably your worst, most libelous post ever.

"libelous"?? A mild little spoof like this?

ADF: Apartheid Defense Forces. It was either that or AOF: Apartheid Occupation Forces.

What's mild about accusing Israeli soldiers of wanting to murder children?

If you're now joining the worst of Israel's critics who claim Israel is an Apartheid state I don't know why I even bother with you anymore.

Emm:

When so many women and children die the reputation of an army suffers, that's simply inevitable.

As regards Apartheid, this is what Olmert had to say about it:

"Prime Minister Ehud Olmert recently said, Israel will “face a South African-style struggle” if the Palestinians do not get a viable state of their own. “As soon as that happens,” he argued, “the state of Israel is finished.” "

This is what I've been saying all along.

Yesterday Daniel Levy (a former Israeli negotiator) reiterated that scenario in greater detail on an analysis show on Press TV.

Yet moderates like you seem to want to bury their heads in the sand about it, insisting Israel's intentions are benign. Many here have lost that illusion. Sorry.

There is a difference between saying that in the future Israel would become an apartheid state without the two-state solution, and saying that it is an apartheid state now. If you call the IDF the ADF, it means you think we're at that situation right now.

The same prime minister who warned against Israel becoming an apartheid state was also the one who launched the operation in Gaza. That seems like a very clear sign that the operation wasn't meant for anything "apartheid-esque".

You're starting to take things literally: satire amplifies and bring s things together that aren't necessarily literally connected.

As regards Apartheid: it can be argued successfully that in parts of the WB we are seeing more than just the beginnings of Apartheid. Expect documentary evidence to follow on this blog.
