On the boycott of Leviev and other BDS efforts

Leviev's devotion to settlement construction have drawn protest from various quarters. Josh Rushing reports:

The Israeli Consul General's response to the Leviev boycott? 'It's anti-Semitic: the Nazis boycotted Jewish stores too!' Sigh, do these one trick ponies only know one song?

Just wondering, don't you think the presence of PT and FJ at Ren's make debate harder and effect the quality of the blog?

Dan, that's why I call'em trollish: they're not exactly Internet trolls but they do thrive on disrupting debate. When rattled they play 'l'ingenue'. Truth is that like pets they want a lot of attention and will fire off any old analogy, no matter how poor, to get it.

Ren's blog afflicted by them but sooner or later these guys usually get tired.

The Batshevah Dance Company is coming to Minneapolis this week. The Maoists and various anti-Zionist groups are calling for a boycott.

I think it is mindless. It's a dance show, not an arms shipment.

All touring dance companies get government $$.

C'mon Ren: it's also about publicity; get the fans of that dance troupe thinking. That's invaluable right now.
