US, Israel walk out on Durban II

Despite early noises that Obama would endorse Durban II, the US pro-Israel lobby, down but not out, has managed to swing things and the US will now in all likelihood boycott Durban II:

Livni:

"The U.S. government's decision is a genuine, courageous expression of its values as the leader of the free world and this decision needs to point the way for those other countries that share those same values."

"We know full well, to our sorrow, towards what direction the conference is going and so we are satisfied with the U.S. government's decision not to take part in it," a diplomatic source in Israel said.

Hard to think of people more capable of inverting and turning the truth into a travesty than a determined Zionist. "genuine, courageous expression of its values"??? Nothing to do with a 40 years alliance and blind support of Israel by Holy Land II then?

Even better is this one:

"The conference preparations have made it clear that Durban II will again almost certainly tainted by anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism," Saperstein said. "We hope that at some point in the near future, a serious international effort will be made to address the plight of those who suffer discrimination."

Pfwoaarrr! So do we Saperstein, so do we... Hypocrisy, the current hallmark of Zion.

Seems to me many in the rest of the world have been cottoning on to the fact that the "Cry anti-Semitism!" ploy no longer works but in Israul that news hasn't been received yet...
