Brendan O’Neill: a twit who thankfully doesn’t tweet

Brendan O’Neill, the Torygraph’s Hasbablogger, prompted by Steve Bell’s latest cartoon a propos Gaza, Bibi, Blair and Hague sees it necessary to ask the question:

That Jews are the puppet-masters of Western politicians? Do people still believe in that old, poisonous conspiracy theory?

It would have been more accurate to ask if people really believe Steve Bell is peddling an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory, when he’s stating the blindingly obvious: that Blair and Hague are behaving like Bibi’s Western powers’ mouthpieces. They are: no conspiracy, no racism, no anti-Semitism involved in making a plain statement like that. Presumably Brendan must also believe that understanding that the US (by its own very frequent and very assertive admissions) supports the Zionist Entity basically unconditionally is also a manifestation of the belief that 'Jews control the world'?

Apparently "he [Brendan] doesn’t tweet". Thank G-d for small mercies, I suppose…
