Cheney's Top Aide Indicted For Perjury, Lying, Obstruction of Justice, Rove Still Under Investigation...
So, just one indictment so far, Scooter Libby...
The indictment charged Mr. Libby with one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of making false statements to F.B.I. investigators and two counts of lying to the grand jury. It presented Mr. Libby as a deceptive witness who lied repeatedly and provided fictitious accounts to the grand jury about his dealings with reporters. But it did not charge him with the actual leaking of a C.I.A. officer's name.
How many to come yet?

Just some observations and thoughts on Fitz and his 'mission'.
It appears to me that Fitz must be very confident that he's got some pretty powerful support - and protection.
He's obviously a brave man as well as a very determined and intelligent one.
I'm sure there's no way he would be 'foolhardy' - in any respect.
I think those considerations should genuinely hearten everyone.
I'd say he's a man 'on a mission' - a mission that's been given to him - by those he feels can be trusted to back him to the hilt, to ensure the mission's success.
In a way this reminds me of the Galloway case: we don't know exactly what's what and will simply have to hope justice will be done.
Fitzgerald seems to me to be the right guy for the job but only time will tell. And Libby remains innocent until proven guilty (or not).
No more 'yet to come,' Gert. No conspiracy. Nothing. This is a non-story.
The person who outed the 'overt' CIA agent named Valerie Plame is none other than her own husband, former diplomat, Democratic hack and acknowledged liar, Joe Wilson.
Kent, you live in hope and so do we...
And even if you're right, it proves you've built a democracy of string puppets and ventriloquists.
How did that stain get on Monika's dress?
